First day of Winter season

Hi guys,

First day of winter season.Although there is not much difference in time period but the track is altogether different.Timing is fast on winter track and the horses with late burst have advantage as they settle well.Following are my views for todays races.

Race1:Royal tune(5)-Win

It is a well known fact that Trainer Prasad raju does well in winter season,has prepared his ward Royal tune very well and will start the season on winning note.Note Imaan who is now made to run with +ve change of shoes,displayed good initial speed in Monsoon,can upset.Southern rose after change of stables merits attention and will place.


Race2:Vijaylakh(1)-Win

Vijaylakh ran good forward races in higher class,has good chance after change of stables in this lower class.An upset cannot be ruled out in this set and that may come in form of either Parineeta or jay jay.

Race3:Glen gyle(1)-win

All first timers.Glen gyle has been showing out in the tracks,will run a good race.Trainer vatsalya does well with Youngsters,i prefer sharp single out of his three horses.Trainer Ldsilva does not believe in extending his wards in very first run hence his two horses are expected to run easy.Guiding light with Jockey Vivek merits attention,will place.There is general feeling that MAM horses are not extended with S Shoes hence Part time lover may be given educational run.

Race4:Chiquelle(2)-win

A straigt fight between Chiquelle and Ave maria.I expect Chiquelle to prevail over Ave maria in the final tussle.The third spot will be grabbed by Style ikon,hence a place bet on style ikon appears to be better option.

Race5:True force(2)-Each way

Ignore last few runs of True force in Monsoon,has best chance in this very weak set and can upset.Bentota is at tidy handicap,will place for sure.Good speed can hope to place.Al jameel is best suited for 1200mts.

Race6:The Parliament(8)-Win

The Parliament is showing out in the track and has good chance to win in this set.Greetwell ran unextended in Monsoon,has been prepared well and will be involved in final finish.Alberton star has good initial speed,may hold on till end.

Race7:Pleasing display(4)-Win

Pleasing display has best credentials to win this race.Do not get misguided by jockey declared on Hurricane bay,has mighty chance to upset.Adamant approach looks good for place.Note Bella cool who can display his true form here,cannot be ignored for minor combinations and JP.

Race8:Smart empire(1)-Win

Smart empire with +ve change of shoes,regular track works appears to be the natural choice in this lower set.Ignore last run of Corps command,can upset over this distance.Fusion music is rank outsider place bet.

Race9:Alpine girl(1)-Win

Alpine girl ran good forward races in higher class,now with +ve change of shoes and jockey has best credentials in this set.Note Dailystar who if hits front can upset,place looks certain.Royal quest will place by default.

Daysbest:Pleasing display(7-4)

Double:Glen gyle(3-1)/Pleasing display(7-4)
