Hi guys,

Following appeals to me for Sunday hyd races.

Race1:Cannon act(4)-Win

Amber rose comes top in contention due to +ve switch of shoes and jockey, will be market fancy.Regular visitors of this blog might recall that in Monsoon i have tipped this horse many time as i noted enough potential here. Here has good chance to win but i do not prefer fillies carrying Top weight hence ignoring it for win and opting for Cannon act who won in the same class in Monsoon beating Blue Magic,Alpine girl both of which went on to win,if tried will be hard to toss.Cabochan requires more ground but in this very poor set will place.

Race2:Grand Rapids(1)-Win

Grand rapids has beaten Greek fire twice in monsoon, has been prepared very well and has advantage over Greek fire.Pythagorous will place.

Race3:Rosemead(8)-Win

Rosemead is good type filly, has been moving pleasingly in morning trials, combo of Harish-L D-Venkatramreddy merits supreme attention and hence is my first pick to win this very very competitive race.Albyro in my view will take lot of time to improve.Guiding light was impressive second in its last outing but has been kept away from track after that race, hence there is an element of doubt over its fitness. If u r looking for long shot place then opt for Ziglar who is showing lot of initial speed in tracks and can place if there is will.

Race4:Leading Light(6)-Win

Ignore last two runs of Leading light due to interference, now with strong saddle assistence and TS has best credentials to win this race from Smrithiman.Proviso was moving well in its last outing and can place.Flying Phoenix won once in poor company,it will be difficult here even though one gets the impression that Trainer Shamshuddin will go all out for double with Amber rose to Flying phoenix but only if horses were wish...

Race5:India gate(5)-Win

What a race this will be.In my way of handicapping India gate comes on top and the fact that it is tracking with blks in track and sporting the same for race further emboldens me to select it ahead of Vendetta,Kings cruise and Ramasses.

Race6:Tristar(5)-Win

Royal tune won opening event of the season very easily and has best credentials to win again but has to be careful with Tristar who now runs with +ve change of shoes and will be involved in final finish.Greetwell emerges as long shot place prospect.

Race7:Queen of Habashe(3)-Win

Collette looks to be prepared very well and will be strongly fancied by its connections, has good initial speed but top weight may mar its chances.Queen of Habashe has ran with better horses and deserves a win in this set.Kohinoor Aditi will place.

Race8:Crocodile Hunter(1)-Win

At this weight Above the line will be hard to toss but Crocodile hunter is in rousing form and has capability to strongly challenge eventual winner, ran along superior horses, hence opted it over others.Sprucespringstein may place.

Race9:Autumn gold(5)-Win

In this poor set Autumn gold can hold on.Boyance will be fancied in this lower set and has chance to win this race.Turning point is long shot place prospect.

Daysbest:Leading light(4-6)

sir,

What is your opinion on yeterday winner spark of madarchod??, is it a classic material?.

Bad luck with Crocodile Hunter. Never mind the distance - 1200M or 1400M - the horse on these terms would have made mincemeat of Above The Line. Just sheer bad luck that PS Chouhan could not pass Arrow of Light along the rails.
