Ex Jockey B Prakash No More

Woke up to a very sad news of Jockey B Prakash passing away at a young age of 40

As a jockey he was darling of rail birds in his hay days , earned distinction of getting more than 2000 wins a major part of which can be attributed to his 5 confirm winners a day stint at Madras and Ooty for many seasons but still he was a very good jockey and there was absolutely no doubt about his calibre

Unfortunately he struggled a bit at end of his career so much so that he was called Shp Prakash since most of his horses would end up second but like they say bad times cannot put a good jockey down for a long time he bounced back by winning Silver Whip reserved for best jockey in the Clash of Titans contest between Indian and Foreign riders

His transition to Trainer initially was successful with backing of big names but for last two years he was not much active, could not get a winner and his current strength of stables was reduced to mere 4

May God give strength to his bereaved family to cope with the loss of their beloved one
