Jacqueline Wins Indian Derby or i quit racing

Blue riband of the season.After carefully studying all horses performances and assesing their chances i dare to say that Jacqueline is unbeatable and if it looses i will Join the party of people who dare to challenge,only difference is i will stick to my words.


Race1:Sol(2)-Win

This race may be given on platter to Sol owned by sponsor of Multi million, Farooq Rattonsey

Race2:Rigel(8)-Win

Rigel is full brother to last year Indian derby winner Antonios,is prepared well and can justify his bloodlines.Note Lionwoods who did not have free run last time,can upset.Moon Star failed to justify favouritism,has tough job here.

Race3:Scholar(6)-Win

Conventional racing wisdom says Not to back a horse which wins a race over 9 furlongs and then chooses to run in shorter distance in immediate run.Doi Moi was one such example on Saturday.Churchill may be fancied but one cannot ignore the fact it was beaten squarely by Moon Flower in Pune.Scholar won handsomely in its last outing ,is at tidy handicap and should this race without much fuss.

Keringdingan is working very very impressively and if ridden properly will be hard to toss but this Derby day one may get the feeling that Sponsors of Derby may be given this race as GIFT,hence cavalry Charge inspite of first run merits attention.

Indian Derbies has favoured males.Only 15 times a filly could win out of 66 indian derbies ran so far.Jacqueline carrys the additional burden of being a fav.Odds are heavily stacked against this wonderful filly.But still i feel that this filly is unbeatable.Its Oaks run was too good,one cannot look beyond it.In case Jacqueline were to loose then it will be Onassis who would end my racing career.
