Mumbai
Race-1: 8.Accenture
Rodrigo: Modest bred making a debut in the lowest class
Safdar: Drops to the target class
Turmeric Tower: Pitched in the lowest class with a drop in handicap but struggles in Mumbai
Brilliant Light: Debut with a work rider
Fortune Cookie: Failed fav who gets negative switch in the saddle support
Chastity: Pitched in a sprint with an equipment change after 3 runs in a longer trip, working well
Divine Soul: Handicap debut in the lowest grade, T-J is poor
Accenture: Horse-Jockey developing partnership,leading claims
Istanbul: a maiden who gets better rider this time, need to improve a lot
Suited Aces: Negative shoes
Smart Choice: Pune specialist
Gandalf: Failed 11 times in this Class and Distance {C-D}

Conclusion: Accenture has obvious claims but an upset in form of Chastity or Safdar cannot be ruled out

Race-2: 2.Key To The Mint

Fairmont: Target class but will not sustain over step up trip
Key To The Mint: fav in debut, last run unshoed, can easily stay this 10f trip
Charming Star: Proving out to be a morning glory
Irrepressible: Debutant, working well with the same jockey but appears to be best suited for 7-8f
Brave Eagle: Ordinary performer who gets services of top rider over extended trip
Power Of Thor: Only C&D Winner, this is a slightly tougher grade
Brazos: Pune specialist
Dalasan: Poor Trainer-Jockey Partnership {T-J}
Beastia: Failed to show out in target class last time
Hot To Trot : Failed to beat half of the field of the same class in last 3 runs
Scotland: Pace stalker who earned a place berth last time, tough to repeat that feat in this set
Shadows: Failed fav of lower grade, will carry overweight

Conclusion: Key to The Mint has strong credentials. Power of Thor can grace board at a decent price

**************************************

Race-3: 1.Hidden Gold

Hidden Gold: Speedy enough to blow the field

Joaquin: Failed fav due to interference last time, at a higher mark now
Aegon: All winners at Pune, will carry overweight
Sharareh: No trackwork noted for this hot sprint race

Conclusion: Hidden Gold and Joaquin are prime contenders, there isn’t much correlation between them except for the 2nd Feb 2020 line where they both ran in different races. Hidden Gold can stage pillar to post victory ahead of fast-finishing Joaquin

******************************************

Race-4: 1. Dreams

Dreams: Carried overweight last time, attained a competitive mark

Evangeline: Trainer suspended for Rno 104 in Pune'20 season, much higher marker now
Sergio: At decent mark and without Blinkers this time, trainer opts for Sandesh if on job.
Rising Brave: Dropping rapidly but note in 5yrs group after March
Gilt Edg : Bleeder, facing enquiry for last run
On Va Danse : Appears to be one-paced, failed to deliver in easier sets
Power Of Blessings: Negative shoes
Winter Storm: Improved in the last run, no fast work noted
Hawk Eye: Poor Trainer-Jockey Partnership {T-J}
Memorable Moments: CNB off this time, will carry overweight, bodyweight should be below 460

Conclusion: Dreams should be able to pull it off. On Va Danse appears to be a default place contender. Memorable Moments can place if bodyweight is below 460

***************************************

Race-5: 2. Balenciaga

Pegaso: Faraway 4th in debut, modest bred

Balenciaga: Bought abroad, Eye-catching spurts in trial
Better Hal: Debutant in negative shoes from ordinary stables
Brave Beauty: Soft preparation
Divine Thoughts: fast work by Rider Boys, average bred
Flashing Famous: Trainer hasn’t won a race with a debutant

Conclusion: Balenciaga on paper looks best

********************************

Race-6: 5.Treasure Gold

The Bawaji: Penalty over unfavourable step up trip

Flaming Lamborgini: Won a targeted race, not placed well in this higher class
Mishka's Pride: Sparingly raced, distance suits and can prove to be doosra of I Sait stables
Wayin: Dam was a sprinter hence suspect to stay this 10f trip
Treasure Gold: Excuse in the last run, earlier won at the same mark
Circle Of Love: Goes up in class, suspect to stay
Mandeville: After a good lung opener now placed in apt distance, not placed well in class terms
Sun Gold: Winner in debut and change of equipment in the second run!!

Conclusion: Tough race to predict outcome confidently. Treasure Gold and Mishka’s Pride are my shortlisted choices

*********************************

Race-7: 1. Lagarde

Lagarde: Highest Rated, Winner of 2000G and Derbies, leading claims

Marlboro Man: Winner of a lower grade of class-5, huge leap forward
Theon: Runner up in Stayer's cup and the only threat to Lagarde
Apsara Star: Suspect to stay over this 12f trip

Conclusion: Lagarde has leading claims here

*********************************

Race-8: 4. Chancellor

Rambler: Ridden by its fav rider in the last run, clearly distance does not suit

Enlightened: Fav jockey astride now, likes to roll in front and may blow out in last 100mts
Vincenzo: Only C&D Winner in this set, Jockey pairs first time with this trainer
Chancellor: relished blinkers to win impressively last time, same Jockey repeats {T-J is 17/17/5/57
Sandman: Fav rider this time but runs in a different set of equipment from its last winning one
Fassbinder:  Frequently changing equipment and looks to be an ordinary type
Ron: Returned bleeding last time, get rids of negative blinkers but still this run is best watched
Bold Advance: Winner of a lower grade of class-5, the tough task here
Fleur De Lys: Decent forward form in a lung opening exercise last time, should run well
Lightningonmyfeet: poor form line, frequent change of equipment

Conclusion: Vincenzo and Chancellor are the shortlisted ones, not sure about the Trainer-Jockey partnership status of the former hence opting for the latter who can score an encore

*******************************

Race-9: 10. Exclusive

Cold Pursuit: handicap debut but runs after a gap of 11 months

La Petite Maison: Debut with an apprentice rider, drawn wide
Myrcell : Failed in a lower grade of this class at a much lower mark, tough task
Next Stop The Moon: Debut, soft preparation
Red Riot: Demotee, stables succeeded with quite a few gambles in the last few weeks
Royal Crown: Debut, no trackwork noted since 23/12
Ame: Target class but step up trip and jockey tempers enthusiasm
Anointed: Hanging under pressure last time, now runs without blinkers
Remy Red: Speedy, can stage pillar to post victory in this lower class
Exclusive: Decent bred, working well and has services of top rider
Dagger's Strike: Runs after a gap of 11 months, has impressed in fast work
Kardashian: Speedy but has a short burst and falters badly after travelling 5f
Supreme Being: Negative shoes

Conclusion: not a fan of debut in class-5 but have been humbled a few times hence despite strong reservations nominating Exclusive as the prime choice ahead of Remy Red
