Symphony in Style is better than almost all runners here on 26th August & 5th March line and despite the fact that a mare is conceding weight to same and younger age horses stands a decent chance. Propahlady is speedy but was slowly off in the last run hence sceptical. Roses in Dream continues to fail on Madras track. Rest does not merit any attention.
Race-2: 8.First Empress
First Empress made an eye-catching transition to handicap class and can make all the running from pillar to post. Valeska is frequently changing equipment and lacks the speed required for this No Whip Sprint race. Angel Light lost as fav in debut due to a slow start, the second run of her career is best watched. Supreme Angel from Mumbai is not active in tracks hence ignoring. Sovereign Power should run well and can earn a place berth at decent odds in hands of a talented apprentice who won a race for this trainer.
Race-3: 2. Feni
Feni being the only Class and Distance winner in this set merits prime attention however Constant Variable from Mumbai can leave the field cold if the long lay-off factor hasn’t affected it much. Sea Script and Attica may find this distance sharp to handle.
Race-4: 3. Lady Solitaire
Lady Solitaire should find this winnable over a favourable shorter trip. Willows was seen hanging under pressure in the last run. Kristalina was slowly away in the last run and should be watched this time. Rwanda had an excuse last time but Trainer-Jockey stats (2/5/10/91) tempers enthusiasm.
Race-5: 10. Diamond And Pearls
Diamond And Pearls runs well after a brief rest and at this weight looks good over the favourable trip. Tudor now runs with Blinkers over unfavourable step up trip. Karadeniz does not compare well against Beethovan {stablemate of Diamond And Pearls} on the 17th Dec line. Manzoni has been struggling since shifting from Kolkotta. Alexander will carry overweight. Renegade with a drop in handicap will be a different customer this time and can sneak in place at decent odds.
Race-6: 2. Emperor Ashoka
Albinus may need a run and a furlong more, stablemate Rubirosa with run benefit will be the first fancy of the stables. Emperor Ashoka gave a decent forward run in debut where it received interference, working well and can improve further. Rule of Emperors made a debut in higher grade but finished in ruts, this run is best watched. Sporting Spirit is retained by the breeder, full brother Red Capri won in his debut run at Mysore. Blue Saphire will find distance sharp. Saint Emilion is best suited for this 6f and should be involved in the mix.
Race-7: 1. Mzilikazi
Mzilikazi the only C&D winner in the set wasn’t extended in the last two runs as the winner was superior, should be a different customer now. Storm Breaker is blazing tracks but not well placed well in this higher class. Wakeful had the excuse of whip-loss in the last run, speedy and allowance claiming rider enhances her chances. Copper Queen with a drop in handicap point and low weights will be a threat to fancied runners.
Race-8: 1.My Opinion
My Opinion has proven class and stamina and despite crushing weight merits prime attention. Golden Era from Mumbai performs well over this 12furlongs trip and should be in the mix. Pissaro has been prepared for this distance, runs here for the first time. Avellino likes to run freely in front which may not be an ideal approach on this track which favours late rushers.
Race-9: 1. Platini
Platini the reject of R Karthik drops to the lowest class for the first time in her career, Jockey has a winning experience with the horse. Queen of Fame makes handicap debut in the lowest class. Wild Passion after a good second is entrusted to local champ albeit at a slightly higher mark. Amazing Kitten a light built filly has a decent record for this C&D and should run in place money.
Win: 1-1/2-8/4-3/6-2
Place: 2-5/3-2/5-5/7-4/9-7
