Bangalore 13.06 Notes

Baring one, rest of the races wear open look.

R-1: 3. Jolie's Star Won
AD MELIORA: Poor T-J {1/4/3/35}
DIESEL: Drops to lowest class, modest bred {dam and her foals maidens}
JOLIE'S STAR: Ideally a 1200mts horse but recent fast works with same Jockey are suggestive of connections intent to exploit this weak set
RANSOMWARE: better Jockey, due for a gamble, connections defy all expectations
SLING SHOT: Only C&D winner which came 2yrs back, since then steadily falling down
RISING FORM: Better Jockey this time, bred for further
WHITNEY: Very poor T-J {0/4/4/103}
WAKIZASHI: Weak form-line, same Jockey earlier could not extract any notable form

Conclusion: Since no horse{s} has credible form-line intent becomes prime tool to anticipate outcome of this race. Jolie's star and Ransomware appeal better than others

R-2: 9. Divo-Next BEST  Out
FLASH: Compulsive front roller carrying tough weight, intent is negative as T-J is poor {0/5/5/33}
SHAHENSHAAH: Due for a gamble, may execute that in a lower class over extended trip later
CHOTIPARI: Attained competitive mark and will try best to get first win at Bangalore
STAR HONOUR: Not a genuine performer and does not appeal with a second string Jockey
GLORIOUS SCEPTRE: A light weighted gelding that reappears without adequate preparation
ABSOLUTE KATRINA: A delicate built filly with poor turn of foot
ROAD RUNNER: A flash in pan type who flatters briefly before weakening out
AMAZING ATTRACTION: Not a sprinter so this reappearance run under a weak Jockey without recent works appears to be a lung opening exercise, note in next run
DIVO: Drop in handicap will aid this gelding to reproduce the form of an eye catching second against Small Dreams { twice winner} of last summer over similar C&D
RIVER DEEP: Reasonably well-bred with balance speed and stamina, since it is running first time after a gelding operation,warrants paddock inspection and betting movements

Conclusion: Horse that stay close to pace will have upper hand, Divo and Chotipari qualify as prime contenders

R-3: 3. Carter Dropped Rider
HUSANARA: A sprinter filly with first time blinkers under an average apprentice
AGRIMA: An ideal 1400mts horse, apprentice has little room for error
CARTER: A well-bred that tops Time Form Rating chart, can be given another chance
ICE QUEEN: Late debutant that showed poor form on debut in a lower class
PALMA: Better jockey and modest opposition may enable a place spot
RIGHTLY NOBLE: Weak form-line, clean slate in Summers [0/0/0/12}
HOLD YOUR BREATH: Tongue strap and strong saddle support intents a possible fully exposed attempt
FOREVER ROYAL: Best effort was finishing 14lengths to winner, stumped to see it installed as first fav, belongs to scheming connections

Conclusion: Carter can be fancied in this modest set where good horses are laced with negative saddle support

R-4: 3. Czar
RICARDO: Almost won over C&D in initial stage of season benefitting from meeting rivals who were not fully race fit, tough to repeat especially with 1kg additional weight
CREDENCE: A speedy mare from Mumbai, has performed exceptionally well in two appearances here
CZAR: Broke long draught of winless spree at Mysore, well placed on handicap, can upset the applecart if allowed to run to true potential
STAR GLORY: Has blinding speed, will retire in last furlong
TOUCH OF GREY: Winner of St Ledgers pitched in a sprint race!!
MONEY BAGS: A progressive type gelding that hardly does anything wrong, has to carry huge penalty impost against speedy horses, can falter
NEVER GIVE IN: Lacks finishing touch needed for this kind of competitive race
EFFICACY: A good mixture of speed and stamina, can be effective if pace is moderate.

Conclusion: Money Bags will be strongly fancied, may be at prohibitive odds, I would take chance on Czar each way {1:3 Ratio}

R-5: 4. Star Of India
THE LEADER: Gets weaker saddle support after an insipid show last time which was first appearance after a setback
SASSY SARAH: 2kgs penalty for finishing second last time out, tough to fancy
BAASHAA: Target race winner last time, will peter out under penalty this time
STAR OF INDIA: Impressive winner over this distance in lower class, can defy penalty
STRAVINSKY: Unfavorable distance and second string Jockey hints toward handicap reduction exercise
BADSHAAH: Facing younger horses, eyeing demotion
OLIVER: Excellent  bred from Mumbai, why change equipment after winning !!!
KISS OF GREY: Due for a gamble, would have been my first choice if for recent trackwork

Conclusion: Proven horses will have upper hand. Star Of India can score an encore.

R-6: 2. Theos
HABOOB: A modest bred that will require few more runs to sharpen
THEOS: Stamina based colt who with a run experience can reveal true potential over favorable extended trip, my aversion to this Jockey was punished aptly while ignoring Xanthe last week
PEARL STAR: Showing out in trials after a race experience, with nil speed influence and heavy stamina orientation filly may be left wanting for more ground
QUANNAH: Wasn't completely fit in the debut run, best suited for this mile and should be involved strongly
SPREZZATURA: Appears to be best till 1400mts only, change of gear in second run indicates a trial run

Conclusion: Juveniles with dosage suited for the mile trip hold advantage. Theos and Quannah qualify on that count

R-7: 8.Carat Love--DAYS BEST

ECLIPSE RUN: Drops in class, suffered setback recently and since then performing poorly, old form that does not hold good
NOBLE CAUSE: Runs according to odds, forward run last time out was suggestive
STAR COMET: Penalized sharply for winning a race in 6yrs and above group, has weak record over this Class and Distance {0/0/2/8}
EBOTSE: Fancied by us last time in peers group, could only place,
IL VOLO: A reject case well past prime
MAKOTO: Buckled under huge penalty last time, will continue to do so
AUGUSTO: More of a winter specialist, nothing to suggest a dramatic reversal of form unless there is some strong betting movement
CARAT LOVE: An eye catching front rolling last time threatening the fancied Jodi, similar efforts in this 5yrs group can reap rich dividend
BREEZE BUSTER: A lethargic type that does not appeal with this whip-less Jockey
BEZWADA SULTAN: Returned bleeding in last two starts

Conclusion: Quite a few are repair and reject cases and in such cases it would be prudent to fancy horse{s} that done well recently. Carat Love is expected to do well.

Possible Gambles: 2-3/ 3-5
