Race-1: 12. Agostini Carracci

MOZELLE is in rousing form, booking of an apprentice with an allowance of 5kgs sets off the penalty, hard to oppose. QUEEN O WAR had her share of excuses in last two runs, appears to be in pink condition, started her career on winning note over this trip here at Pune, will dart out in front from a favorable innermost draw. Change of equipment worked well for AGOSTINI CARRACCI, connections would be willing to exploit current form and qualifies for 1-2 spot. DALI SWIRL did not get 7f trip, return to favorable trip with a drop in handicap point can work in favor to earn a place berth.

Race-2: 9. Daggers Strike

A weak looking race where ANOUSHKA may be fancied, she is knocking  the door and may find well enough to score in this modest company however DAGGERS STRIKE improved well in last run, with literally nothing on his back he surely will go all out in front. TURMERIC TOWER ran easy last time, returned bleeding in earlier race, at a competitive mark and will not miss a place on board.

Race-3: 7. Willy Wonka

A 10f race for lowest class is bound to produce an upset and while MULTI ENCRYPTED owing to front rolling tendencies will be wishing for WP to come to his rescue it would pay to fancy last time surprise impressive winner POWER OF THOR or WILLY WONKA who was denied a clear passage and can exploit the lenient drop in handicap.

Race-4: 7. Flying Scotsman

COUNT OF SAVOY had to be hard pressed over unfavorable 7f trip, appears to be a good miler and will not go down without a good fight. PRIDES ANGEL came with a telling strides to win close home, distance should not be an issue as Dam's other foal TAIMUR has won 2 races over mile however Penalty and a tough group would severely test her class. PRESIDENTIAL summered well at Bangalore, runs well with fresh legs. FLYING SCOTSMAN was a repeat pattern very impressive winner, well placed in this higher class, should not miss a place in top 2 spot.

Race-5: 10. Liberation

HOUSE OF LORDS is the most experienced here, should improve over further this time. LORD FENCIA is first foal of the Dam who was a good miler, will go all out in the second run of career. PERIGRINE FALCON is also first foal of the Dam, watch out for market trend. KIRKINES despite a rough passage produced a decent effort last time, modest bred and may need a bit more sharpening. LIBERATION is a good 1400mts horse, last run was below expectation, experimented with Cross Nose Band this time

Race-6: 7. Fashion Icon

ADAMAS returns to Maidens group,  fitted with Blinkers this time. DUFY stayed out of game last time where winner was sighted clear, Jockey has executed few gambles for stables. HUNAR improved in last run, first foal of a costly purchase DAM, can improve over further. FASHION ICON ran on well in higher grade races at Mumbai, first run at Pune can be excused for bumping incident. INAMORATA failed as fav in debut, stood flat footed when gates opened and could never get into the game thereafter, conventional racing wisdom says this run is best watched. KARIENA is displaying good form, change of name may bring the good luck

Race-7: 1.Mojito

MOJITO was hampered for room at start in Bangalore Derby, was an eye catching winner of Colt Stakes, hard to oppose. COEUR DE LION had no realistic chance in Pune Derby, won a handicap race over mile, this one looks tough. KALAMISTI after winning at Bangalore could not impress at Pune, stables are known for form reversal when least expected. VINCENT VAN GOUGH had an excuse of stumbling in last outing, bred in purple but Jockey lacks the temperament needed for a highly competitive race.

Race-8: 8. Zukor

A tricky affair with no contender having a clear advantage. RHYTHM OF NATURE is a 5f horse but a whipless rider on a horse with no initial speed is asking for a bit too much.ARBITRAGE improved with Blinkers last time, can make a successful transition to handicap class. ZUKOR is bred for speed, drops in handicap and will run a much improved race this time.MIRAE has attained competitive mark, stables have the knack of delivering when odds suit them.

Race-9: 1.Arcana

ARCANA was hanging out in the only run at Bangalore, get rids of CNB which was added for no reasons. HILMA KLINT is a decent performer over this trip. SKYHAWK improved in last run, may be left wanting for more ground at all important end. HELA won emphatically and in current form an encore is very much possible

Post odds

R-1) Trainer of 2 has expressed doubt due to a whip less Jockey and 12 installed as second fav does not justify the risk. Better to lay this Jodi @40p and back 4 for place @12/10

R-2) An Open affair as expected. 4 with Jockey R Shelar in odds is intriguing and place odds on 7 may not fetch much dividends, an avoidable race from wagering perspective

R-3) 8 is installed as fav, a 1400mts horse over 2000mts and even place can be layed, 7 can be backed Each way @8 and 2 {1:3 Ratio}

R-4) 7 is installed as fav, fair chance going by emphatic win in last run

R-5) 10 installed as fav does not justify the risk as last run was bad and 9 is a modest bred, lay Jodi @35p 

R-6) While both 1&9 have decent credentials I would prefer a Each way {1:4 Ratio} on 7

R-7) 1@42p !!! returns after a setback and bookies quote it at such low odds, LAY

R-8) An open affair in odds. 8 win can be backed if available @5/1

R-9) 1 is installed as fav, has decent credentials but 10pl appears to be safe option
