Pune Ist day selections

Hi,

Following appeals to me for first day of Pune season.

Race1:Realdream(1)/Beaconlight(8)

Sunburst and Last night sonnet were the best of the lot but ignored due to lack of track work,-ve change of shoes and weak jockey.Beaconlight has good chance to run away to victory in this set,place looks certain.Realdream has run good races in strong company,working well and should clear maidens.

Race2:Adamslaw(1)/Resilence(8)

Cherokee is best of lot but i fail to understand -ve change of shoes along with change of equipments,it would be risky to bet on a horse which earlier displayed fractious behaviour.Adamslaw is in forward condition and jockey just need to take him in front and the rest will be done by horse itself.Resilence can place.Always is working very well but running after long lay off of 20 months.Double delite can ignored due to short distance and weak jockey.


Race3:Ariane(6)/Rokeby Venus(7)

Ariane inspite of weak jockey comes first in contention and has good chance to upset.Rokebyvenus will place.Red dragon is now running with "Blks",sharp straight of Pune will not help its cause.


Race4:Polariser(6)/Nuncio(11)

Polariser has slender advantage over Asclepieion and Numcio,latter is sure to place.


Race5:Dancing Glory(8)/Prince Lochinva(4)

Dancing glory should not have much difficulty in winning this race and shapes as days best bet.Prince lochinave will place along with Romantic impact.

Race6:Weizhou(5)/Sea Of Kisses(6)

Weizhou emerges as another good bet of the day.Sea of kisses may pose some challenge.Swahili is certain to place.

Race7:Red Romeo(9)/Pepe Junior(4)

Red Romeo stands tall in this set and should complete the formality.Pepe Junior will fetch good returns for place.Oyster Pearl at best can only hope to place due to jockey merit.

Race8:Creme De La Creme(9)/Royal Gesture(14)

Fragrances has been prepared well but looks difficult to win on its debut.Creme de la creme ran good forward races in strong company at mumbai,here looks home and dry.Royalgesture ran suggestively in its debut run,will place at good odds.Oyster Blue may place if tried.

Race9:Shyboy(6)/Escravos(4)

Shyboy is my first pick to beat Escravos.Cairndhu loves Pune track and should place.

Race10:Suraj(1)/Stud Of Gold(6)

Stud of gold has failed to deliver on many occasions.My first pick would be Suraj who has struck form as evident by last few runs of Mumbai,working well,can pull it off.Major Wager looks good for place.
