I was witness to what can be called as one of the greatest Showdowns in Texas Poker, at least that is what the "Sharks" on the table, Dealer and Poker Room In-Charge said and they did see quite a lot of interesting show downs

 

Here it goes

 

On a table of 9 players 5 folded when one player RAISED to 1200/- and four remained. Flop Cards were K,3,5 { I am not mentioning the suit as it was inconsequential in raise and final outcome}. 

 

Here is the interesting thing. Pocket {Hole} cards of 4 players were AA, KK, 55,3&5 { Of course this we knew only after the showdown, I am telling this to build the event} 

 

As you can see players with pocket K's and 5's had a strong hand with both having THREE OF A KIND where as the player with 3&5 had TWO PAIRS , and the one with Pocket AA had a rightful hope of striking big with best possible Pocket cards. 

 

After Flop, one player raised to 8000 which all others matched and stayed in game. Pot at this stage was 37000

 

Now 4th community card is drawn and it is as 3!!

 

Community cards are K,3,5,3 

 

Players with Pocket K's,5's,3,s all have a Full House Hand {One Triple and One Double}

 

Seeing this one player raised to 20K, others 3 matched and all four remained in game each one thinking he is the best hand

 

It was time for the last card to revealed which was 3!!

 

Community cards were K,3,5,3,3

 

Regular players know very well that FOUR OF A KIND is a very thing as in 52 card pack there will be only 4 of a same kind and with 3 in community card chances of any other player having the remaining 4th card is very rare and this was the logic which prompted a player with Pocket AA to go for ALL IN 

 

Without any second thought other 3 went for All in since all thought they had the best hand

 

Pot was 256000 { A Big money for a table of 200/500 Blinds} 

 

Players were asked to Show their cards

 

One who had 3,5 as pocket cards WON as he had a hand of FOUR OF A KIND while other three had a FULL HOUSE

 

Extremely rare that 3 full houses would get beat on a BAD BEAT !!!  Entire Poker room instantly went into a frenzy
