2) One of the member of GOM {Group of Ministers constituted to look into taxation method} has expressed opinion that Taxation should be levied on Gross Revenue as per International Best practices and not on overall pool as recommended earlier. If this is accepted by GOM then there is a possibility of GST being levied on Club commission. 

Fact that a National Tote is being constituted gives an impression that clubs are hopeful of a positive outcome on GST front otherwise what would be the reason to start something which is bound to fail if 28% GST on entire bet amount persists
