{Pezula with Blinkers on displayed good forward form in higher class last time, can tackle this modest set of lowest class. Between Friends got decent TR in last run and can spring a surprise-Place}

R2: 6.Arcadia

{Arcadia had excuse of interference in last run, looks good on form and fitness.}

R3: 9. Mount Olympus

{Mount Olympus earned a decent TR in the last run and despite weak saddle assistance appeals most. Agrami has won in First Up Race and should run a good race-Place}

R4: 4.Luminous

{Luminous won impressively in debut beating better horses, can stay this trip. Touch of Faith will relish this trip and should be involved in finish-Place}

R5: 2.Gallantry

{Best horse on numbers is Noble Heir {ex Gold Dust} but light work in trials suggest this run may be a lung opener, Gallantry stands good chance over this favourable extended trip}

R6: 1.Leopard Rock

{Leopard Rock in last run earned a TR which was 30 points above the standard TR, one to be beaten here}

R7: 6.Magic in The Wind

{Magic in The Wind with TS improved well in last run, can trouble the well bred debutants}

R8: 7.Alpine Dancer

{Alpine Dancer with run advantage will be a different customer this time. Abraxas is the only Class and Distance winner in the field and can place}

{Akido qualifies on Horse-Jockey Developing Partnership and hopefully can provide first winner of the season to Jockey and Trainer. Fire Power is blazing tracks in trials and should be strongly involved

R2: 11.Balma

{Balma got low DR in last run due to an easy unextended run by second string jockey, should do well here. Nova Scotia is suspect to stay over this trip. If Akido wins first race then Royal Pal will be jobber here}

R3: 2.Belle Springs

{Belle Springs has numbers in favour and can prove as decent value bet}

R4: 3.Lightning Bolt

{Lightning Bold returns to handicap class after unsuccessful stint in Grade races, on class factor looks tall}

R5: 8.Reno Star

{Reno Star earned decent numbers in last win suggesting that encore is very much possible}

R6: 5.Advanced Guard

{Tough to predict outcome of this 9 furlongs race where most of the runners are suspect to stay.Advanced Guard can do well over this trip}

R7: 10. Soviet Pride

{Soviet Pride’s last win had traces of repeat and in current form looks good for a repeat}
