Mumbai& Hyderabad 22nd November

Hi all,
Following are my views for Sunday races.Start of Mumbai races will ease pressure on Hyd racing and local punters can expect good odds as there will not be all india betting.Trainer Satish will have good day.
Race1:Grand Party(5)-Win
Conventional racing wisdom says for races run over mile, horses which have won over 1600mts should get first preference.Zulima and Bhardvij qualify on that count but Zulima is not in tracks which is not the winning pattern and Bhardvij too is not in track and is out of class in this set. This leaves us with Kansascitymac,Grand party and Triple nine.Triple nine won on jockey merits in its last outing, looks difficult to me here.Kansascitymac is burdened with welter weight and lacks winning punch.Grand party was seen moving very very well on rain soaked heavy track in its last outing and its high time this Full sister to Classy Khaleelspride reveal her true form.
Race2:Classic ruby(4)/Hospitality(1)
Millenuimqueen is best of lot but sporting steel shoes which is not the winning pattern of its trainer, may be looking for class down.Narwhal and Fusion music will find this distance bit sharp.Olympic Crown is non winner even after 43 runs to its credit.Toledo and Kohinoor star are just ALSO RAN types.Music express recorded his last win 3 years back, almost stops after running 5 furlongs. This leave us with Classic Ruby and Hospitality.Trainer Srinivas is known to take advantage of poor fields,he is master tactian and will extend his horses only if there is good chance.I do get the feeling that he will go all out with Hospitality in this run as in last run his rider was cautioned to be more vigorous.Classic ruby ran good forward races and in this shorter distance has very good chance.
Race3:Ice Mountain(4)/Airborne Magic(1)
Airborne magic:Fancied strongly on debut, has very good initial speed, run benifit advantage and if its final spurt is true then it will be strongly involved in final finish.
Don valentino:Full brother to Derby winner Sparks,if its gate practise are any indications then it will make all run for their money.
Icemountain:I strongly fancied its chances in first run,was ridden badly thru out,now with +ve change of shoes and run benifit has very good chance to win.
Rapture of Victory:Full brother to classy Moon Flower ,prepared very very well, but going by trend that youngsters have shown till now i feel both Don valentino and Rapture of Victory will not be fully extended.
Remaining First timers does not impress.
Moheena:Was seen moving well on debut but Trainer Srinivas never ever runs his wards to true form imediately after show run.
Petruda:May take lot of time to improve.
Finally i prefer Ice mountain and Airborne Magic to dominate proceedings with third spot can be filled by either Don Valentino or Moheena.
Race4:Chiquelle(1)/Dating(7)
Chiquelle has impressive career record till date, found Ave maria too hot to handle in its last run, with better saddle assistence will be hard to toss this time.Rosctock is one pace horse and in this set at best can place.Earth bender ran like a dud in winter, looks to be well prepared but lacks class and can only hope to place.Dating is the horse which will make everyone run for their money,i expect Trainer satish to be in lime light, watch out for trend earlier if Grand party or Ice mountain wins then this horse will be live force.I always maintained that Manduro does well at botton weights,in this fast pace race looks difficult.
Race5:Debonair(6)/Bentota(10)
Nandanvana comes top in contention but lack of track work and sharp distance are huge -ves.Debonaire after change of stables won well and in subsequent run on invitation day ran easy in super strong company, last run showed good turn of foot and gets nod ahead of others.Smarty Prince may be fancied due to jockey but the fact that it got beaten by Debonair at identical handicap difference cannot be ignored, failed as hot fav with same rider astride in previous runs.Trainer M V Narayan rao is having good winter season,Bentota was seen moving well in its last outing, will place for sure.Baywatch Babe is non winner till date, gives contradicting runs, can be ignored for win.Star favours will be made to run in A shoes if on job.Lucky Damsel is eternal failure and except for a win two years back has done nothing worthy .Lavendermist is not sighted in tracks after its last run.Torrestella does well in Monsoon only.Deccan Passion is best suited for 6 furlongs.
Race6;Cygnet(4)/Ujjaini(8)
If we compare runs of all runners on November 1st we can establish that Regents park is better than Good speed who in turn is better than rest of the runners but both this runners were way behind Cygnet and Ujjaini.Cygnet thru big bombshell in last run, will run to its best potential to ward off any unnneccasary accusations.Ujjaini ran very well before going down to better True force in its last run and in my view race is restricted to this two only.I always maintained that Vijaylakh is best suited for 1100mts and hence looks good for place.
Race7:Champforever(3)/Coralgables(1)/Carteblance(8)
Highly competitive race.Iaepetus comes top in contention but iam unable to understand only one track in entire last month, definetely not the winning pattern.Carte blanche's last run was too bad to be believed ,tracking impressively and at this handicap is live threat to one and all.Pleasing display is not sighted in track after its last run, hence ignored.Champforever is impressive winner of mockrace and should extend its best here ,can win.Coral gables has done nothing wrong ,has beaten Champforeve at identical weight diff but i feel in that run Champforever took things easy and did not extend to its true potential. Finally it would be prudent to state that a triway finish is in store involving Champforever,Coralgables and Carteblanche .I prefer in that order.
Race8:Celestial way(2)/Messalina(6)
First classic of the season and one can safely establish the fact that it will be fought between two filles of Padmanabham Messilna and Celestial way.Messalina has been prepared for this event, impressed in mockrace. But the fact that Celestial way was entered for this race paying late entry fee makes it more interesting.Celestial way was born as Orphan foal who lost her mother at time of birth, showed tremendous temparment to over come that truama. Its manner of last victory was too good and i would give it first preference over Messilina. One of the local horses will fill third spot and that can be Kohinoor delight which displayed tremendous turn of foot in its last outing.
Race9:Cheetah He Jeetah(1)/Just be cools(8)
An upset cannot be ruled out in this race.Cheetah he Jeetah,World wide and Just be cool emerge as main contender in my view.Cheetah he Jeetah recorded an upset win in lower class 1.5 year back and thereafter ran listless in higher category,is back to where it belong and can upset.Just be cool has good initial speed and can kick on gamely till end if other runners fail to collar her.Tiara as stated earlier is one eyed horse, falls on other horse during race, cannot be trusted.Worldwide is genuine upset horse, must for JP.
