R1: 7.Scrupples

Linkin Park has been given light works, Jockey has a poor record in terms race

Noble Ruler failed to impress in Gate Practices though subsequent trials were good

Thousand Words is a full sibling to Class-2 Sprinter Niobrara, blazing the track in morning trials

War Chieftain ridden by an ace jockey is not shown in trials

Allamanda who is a full sister to Rhapsody has impressed in gate practices, distance may be sharp

Scrupples is showing lot of speed in trackwork and stands a decent chance to raise winning gallop

 Conclusion: All first timers. Scrupples and Thousand Words are expected to be in contention

 

R2: 1. Baroness

Baroness has speed and will be a different customer this time

Iconic Princess gets negative rider switch hence ignoring despite good TR

Country’s Jewel drops to target class, working well but placed disadvantageously on class terms

Song and Dance do not appeal on class terms

Altair was withdrawn last time due to fractious behavior in gates, has best numbers and if given green signal can upset

 Conclusion: A Race ideal for second strings stables to execute their gambles. Baroness looks good, include Altair in pools

 

R3: 8. Royal Blossom

WatchmyStars lost as fav in last run {earned weak TR} makes handicap debut in modest set but has wide draw to overcome

Smoke The Grass had an easy debut, has scope to improve overextended trip

Royal Blossom is working well and can raise winning gallop in this ordinary set

 Conclusion: Most of the runners except for a few are in backward form. Watchmystars will be hot fav but may be stunned by debutant Royal Blossom

 

R4: 6.Sporting Memories

Sporting Memories last run in 2000Guineas at Chennai can be ignored, well suited for this 10 furlongs trip and should be a frontline contender

Redoubtable is working very well, earlier beaten by Sporting memories and does not appeal due to weak saddle assistance

Ansaldo loses out on class terms

Mighty Red is the winner of this Class and Distance last season, will be a different customer this time and should end up in 1-2

Johnny Bravo likes to bowl out in front and may run out of gas at all important end

Legendary Princess may play the role of pacemaker for its stablemate Sporting Memories

 Conclusion: Sporting Memories for win and Mighty Red for place appeals in this competitive Race

 R5: 6.Cosmic Ray

Multifaceted is highest rated in the terms race but may run out of steam over this unfavourable 7 furlongs trip

Snowdon is the winner of this race last Year, bit difficult horse and may struggle with Trevor astride who is riding it for the first time

Dream Catcher falters in Terms race

Shesmyscript does not compare well against Cosmic Ray

Cosmic Ray earned impressive TR in the last run and looks good on all counts

Conclusion: Cosmic Ray has looks of a winner however has to be wary of Snowdon

 R6: 7.Mistletoe

Amalfi Sunrise failed in Class-4, rated low

Amazing Blaze got weak TR in the last win, working well but has a tough task here

Antibes is the progeny of Fond Fantasy and suited well for this 12 furlongs trip, impressed in the final preparatory gallop

Lake Tahoe is full sister to Tassawur, impressed in debut run, second run of career hence cannot take confident call

Mistletoe has earned impressive TR in both runs of her career, this full sister to PALLAS can stay this trip

Rambunctious has been well prepared, this full sister to SQAURE THE CIRCLE has much to prove over this trip

Conclusion: Mistletoe owing to impressive Time Form Ratings appeals most in this Ladies Derby. Antibes should be strongly involved as well

 R7: 2.Attorney General

Attorney General has won twice with this Jockey in as many runs and in this class, looks best of lot

Galvarino was an impressive winner {TR was 7 points ahead of standard TR} but widest draw , double class promotion and overweight are negatives this time

Alexander Dumas is on roll but gets a negative switch in saddle support

Malwa has weak numbers and despite strong saddle assistance does not appeal

Conclusion: Attorney General has targeted this race and should run prominently

 R8: 4.Forever Together

Forever Together earned an impressive Time Form Rating in debut  and should be the one to be beaten here

Towering Presence is blazing tracks in trials should be a different customer with this Jockey

Canotina is stretching out well in trials, looks good for a place

Conclusion: Straight fight between Forever Together and Towering Presence, former on the strength of impressive TR is prime choice
