Sad day for race lovers

Hoping against hope..entire racing fraternity was expecting relief from Karnataka High court...Alas none came


Indeed Govt had strong case but amazing thing is the speed with which this matter was disposed by court..

Very rarely does Supreme Court goes against rulings of division bench of High court...The orders passed have been as per letter of law


Racing may continue at same place for some time but the damage has already been done....y will owners invest in new costly blood stock when they knw this centre will get closed sooner or later.


In public forums one can see many people expecting Vijay Mallya to bail BTC out or save racing in Bangalore...He is business man first..Sports lover later...Y would he invest in a venture which is brutally opposed by govt...22% tax as of now....many more will follow...iam 100% sure no business establishment would like to associate itself with a venture which faces wrath of Govt.


Everytime i visited BTC..I found more than one reason to return ..

Rajasthan or Delhi

Hi,

Both predictions on Sunday failed miserably.Like horses even teams with "MATCH BENEFIT" had upper hand on Sunday.Both CSK and RCB looked rusty whereas KKR and DC were in match rhythm.

Coming to Todays match between Rajasthan and DD....

Entire think tank of Delhi Dare Devils must have concentrated on single person and that is Yusuf Pathan..RR's batting and bowling has been pretty ordinary except for spectacular innings of Pathan.Can he score against likes of Dirk Nannes,Mahroof,Mishra...Tough job one can say.

If DD gets chance to bat first then one can expect a run feast...Sehwag/Gambhir/Dilshan/Devillers will severely attack weak bowling of RR.

DD on paper looks outstanding and it will take really really big effort from RR Boys to make any impression and pose some threat at any stage..

Hi,

I have been hooked to IPL-3 and find very little for racing which otherwise is not interesting post derby and invitation.

What a match it was between Mumbai Indians and RajasthanRoyals.No one would have given an iota of chance for Rajasthan Royals but great great batting by Yousuf Pathan enthralled entire nation.They say GREAT CHALLENGES MAKE GREAT HEROES..and it was amply displayed at Mumbai yesterday.

Todays Predictions

Match1:Consistent and Formidable Chennai Super Kings should easily prevail over Over Hyped Deccan Chargers.

CSK has biggest strength in its cool captain M S Dhoni.They have formidable batting line up in Suresh Raina,Mathew Hayden,George Bailey ,Albie Morkel Dhoni also contributing with bat.

CSK bowling department has recieved jolt by loss of Oram,Flintoff..yet they have good bowling line up in Ntini,Muralitharan,Gony,Balaji and Joginder Sharma.

Deccan Chargers bowling was exposed in last match.They are sorely missing Ryan Harris and Kemar Roach.All depends on great start by Gilly and Symonds{very rarely does his perform}.


Match2:Formidable RCB Should prevail over KKR.

Bangalore Royal challenger is The team was owned by Vijay Mallya - who has a lot of qualities, but who isn't best known for his ability to deal with failure, and who has an ego that would struggle to fit into the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
