Founded in 1842, Singapore Turf Club (STC) is the oldest existing and only Horse racing club in Singapore. It is the proprietary club of the Singapore Totalisator board, to manage and operate horse racing at the Singapore RaceCourse at Kranji

Types of Track used

1. Turf Track: Grass Track ideal for galloping horses

Turf Track type consists of

 Track A {31m Wide} also known as Turf Track Short Course

Track B {27m Wide} also known as Turf Track Long Course

2. POLY TRACK

As the name suggests it is a synthetic laid track with prime intention of reducing injuries to horses

Sprint races are held on track numbers 4&7. Route and mile races are conducted on track 2 and 6

3. SAND TRACK

A track consisting of sand with length of 1300mts

Timings on Turf Track Long course are slightly faster than that of Turf Track Short Course

 Timings on Poly Track are significantly slower than that of Grass Tracks

BARRIER BIAS

No Significant barrier bias is noted except for Wet conditions where horses from inner box hold advantage

To calculate DR I have taken into consideration Standard Timings of for each Track, Class and Distance Variations, Going {Fast, Firm, Good, yielding, Soft, Wet}, effect of weight difference

In our system 1length = 5 Points in DR. DR for most of the races is very close to the extent that in few cases entire field of 16 horses is covered within 15 points in DR

In India we don’t have the facility to wager on this races so turns out that THIS IS JUST A FUN EXERCISE

Poly Track

Lim’s Shot drops in class and has slight advantage against Optimum Note who won in last start over this Poly Track. Super Win has tendency of going wide but since this time it is placed in advantageous mid box can end up in place at decent odds

Lim’s Spin had excuse {got unbalanced} in debut and is bound to improve in second run of his career. Kharisma ran on well in debut and now drawn well in innermost barrier and can place at decent odds. Yitai Loyalty and Lady First ran well on debut but now drawn in outer box
