Just to kill time did ratings for Happy Valley races {closest to Indian racing}.There is no option of wagering on this races and it's just a fun exercise

Racing in Hong Kong is conducted by The Hong Kong Jockey Club at Happy Valley and Sha Tin race courses.Racing at Happy Valley is on Wednesdays while racing at Sha Tin is on weekends and Holidays . Annual turn over of betting on totalizer for last year was stagerring 15 Billion Dollars which equals to approximately 1.1 lakh crores in Indian rupees. Compare that to turn over of our clubs which at best may be around 4000 crores
Happy Valley Racecourse is a small track with tight turns, which means that it is best suited to front runners or "on the pace" horses for the majority of times. The location of the starting points also affects the bias and this is even more evident with the 1000m and 1200m starting positions, favouring horses drawn close to the inside rail
There is no dearth of information for handicappers. I have taken into consideration Course Variation, track bias ( fast,slow,good, Yielding,Soft,Wet), effect of weights Variation, Class and Distance variations
