Hi,
Last two weeks of hydracing brought immense joy to race lovers here.THE OLD MAN OF HRC Coral gables delighted railbirds when he beat talented and strong youngsters from Bangalore and Mumbai.
Spot On ran a game second to super strong Messalina ahead of Captivating,Amazing ray.
It is still a long time to go before we can say YES hyd horses are also good enough to challenge.Gone are the days when even not so fancied horses from other centres would simply walk away with classics of this centre.
I know very well that Hyd horses cannot perform well in other centres but we will more than happy atleast if they are able to give respectable challenge to outstation horses in classics.

I agree with you on the topic. I am also a big fan of Coralgables. Let it win or lose I always played coral gables eachway in all the centres it participated.

Yes, Spot on Run was impressive. So Vinod do you think in the next 2-3 years Hyd should be at par with other race clubs.

Long long way to go before we can say Hyd races is at par with other centres...Bangalore itself is streets ahead,forget abt mumbai racing.
Quality of racing needs to be improved a lot.I have read infinite comments against hyd racing in various public forums..i never objected against it for the simple reason that i knew they were not entirely wrong.But iam happy the way races are conducted for last few seasons...A small step is first requirement to take a giant leap...Let us wait and see
